We Love Our Community!

Just Like Family has been a part of the Lebanon County community for over 40 years, with many of our staff and clients having lived in Lebanon County and the surrounding areas all of their lives. With strong ties to the area, we feel passionate about giving back to the community that has given us so much. It is with overwhelming gratitude that we seek out opportunities to do what we can to improve the lives of those around us.

Anthony Miller, president of Just Like Family, has sat on the board of Lebanon County’s Sexual Assault Resource and Counseling Center, also known as SARCC, since July 2012. Actively involved in all aspects of their fundraising and community outreach, Mr. Miller currently presides as board president. Tiffany Miller, co-owner of Just Like Family, is also a member of the SARCC board and works diligently on all projects designed to promote and fund the comprehensive services provided by SARCC to the local community.

With a passion for non-profit work, Mr. and Mrs. Miller have also partnered with the Lebanon Humane Society, participated in local walks to benefit the Alzheimer’s Association, and worked on several local fundraising campaigns.

In honor of his contributions to the local community, Mr. Miller was awarded the Leon Hoover Entrepreneurial Spirit Award in May 2012. This award is given to those who not only prove to have strong leadership qualities, but also to those who have shown active involvement in the betterment of their community.

As members of the Lebanon Valley Chamber of Commerce, Mr. and Mrs. Miller believe strongly in the Chamber’s mission. Members of the Chamber seek to advance this region’s economic vitality and quality of life through the provision of strong leadership and through the formation of dynamic organizational and community partnerships. In alignment with this goal of forming community partnerships, Mrs. Miller is also a member of the Lebanon Valley Young Professionals.

Additionally, Just Like Family has been a part of the Working Caregiver Initiative since its beginnings in 2010. The Working Caregiver Initiative is a group of local, senior-oriented organizations who speak at no cost to local businesses in an effort to keep those who lead busy lives informed about their options when it comes to senior care. Representatives of the group speak on VA benefits, services available through the local Area Agency on Aging, and a variety of other aging services. If you are interested in having the Working Caregiver Initiative speak at your office, support group, or church please contact us.
