Just Like Family is truly “just like family”. We have utilized JLF to provide services for my father since June 2023 when he moved home after a stay at an assisted living facility following a medical emergency. He just needs some extra help a couple of times per week. The caregivers who have been assigned to him are truly wonderful. They are extremely caring and treat him with the utmost of respect. If a medical issue occurs, they inform me immediately and follow up to make sure that he is well. They care for him like a member of their own family.. I feel completely at ease knowing that he is getting the best of care.

JLF aides took care of my dad for a little over a year. While we would recommend JLF and our overall experience was very good, my review is specifically about Ashley. My dad was gruff and didn't like the idea of someone coming into his home to take care of him. Ashley was patient and earned my dad's trust, and he became fond of her. Dad was actually happy when it was Ashley's day to provide care. She went above and beyond her duties, recommending ways we could help make Dad feel more secure in his home and letting us know about problems she noticed. This was so important since Dad had no family close by. She told me her standard was to do for our dad what she would do for her mom. She was a wonderful blessing to my dad and our whole family.

Just like the name says.
The care Ashley Smith gave my mother was exceptional.
And she became like family to all of us.

Just Like Family’s services was a life saver for my mother-in-law. With her getting up there in age and very unsteady on her feet, Just Like Family’s team was there for her. Getting dressed, bathing, and using the bathroom were things she needed help with and Just Like Family provided, punctual, reliable assistance. I would recommend them to anyone in the Central PA area.

I love being an employee of Just Like Family, not only do I work with a great group of people, but I get to take care of people that become like family, not clients/ patients, plus we get to set our own availability which is so helpful each month. I set out to help & save people and that's what I do, just like outside of work being a First Responder. I'm so glad I chose this company to work for.

Having Just Like Family involved with caring for our mother has enabled us to have her stay in her home. Staff has been kind and easy to work with guidance on how to accommodate my mother's needs.

I’ve been working for just like family for about a year now and this is the only job I’ve had that lets us do our own availability to be with our families and I appreciate that and the clients and staff are wonderful I look forward to coming to work everyday

by far the best job i’ve had, the girls in the office are so flexible and understanding. it’s such a good learning experience and a good environment. the clients i had were the sweetest caring souls. if your looking for hours they’ve got it!

I had surgery on my right shoulder. I'm right handed. I needed help with everything. The caregivers have been wonderful. I like that I'm not restricted to my house and that one of the duties of the caregivers allows them to drive me to do errands.

Great team of caregivers and office staff. I have appreciated the communication and care for my parents.

JLF IS THE BEST! The JLF team of home health care givers have been caring for my father for almost 10 years. Compassionate, understanding, and willing to go above and beyond for my ageing father. Tony, Tiffany, and their staff are leaders in the care giving field.

I recently had an accident & broke my L wrist & am Left Handed. Needed help with navigating in my home & learning how to navigate without wrist working.. I would give them 10 stars if I could. Help me with anything I need. I live in Lebanon & am so thankful for Just Like Family. I would recommend highly.

I can’t say enough good things about Just Like Family. The office staff is incredibly friendly. They go above and beyond for any need, whether it be for the employees or the clients. The field staff that I have come in contact with are well trained and willing to go the extra mile to make sure a loved one is cared for to the highest standard. All of Just like family's caregivers are very professional, and the office always responds when there is a question or concern. Highly recommended!

Initially I was unsure if my family member would tolerate being left alone with someone new, however, having a trained professional truly makes a difference.
